Weekend in review

This has been such a nice weekend and the weather has been amazing!

Friday night we went to dinner and ran some errands. While at PetSmart picking up some chew bones for the girls (more on that below) we picked up some Halloween stuff for the girls. It was quite impossible to get a shot of them together.

While we were on our cruise, Elliot felt the need to DESTROY the door frame around our half bath. She has a bit of a chewing problem that we can't seem to break her of because she does this while we are at work. I won't even show you what she did to our brand new kitchen cabinets. Hence the visit to PetSmart to try to find something for her chewing. We ended up buying nylabones...we shall see. Surely she will grow out of this. Sabrett did, but she wasn't nearly as bad as Elliot.

I made a cheesecake this morning. We will try it out for dessert tonight. The back of the Cherry Cordial Creme Hershey Kiss bag had a recipe for a cheesecake. It looked way too complicated so I used my 3-step cheesecake recipe and added the kisses. We shall see.

This afternoon was a Dachshund Meet Up. The girls had so much fun and they released quite a bit of energy. The next couple of days should be pretty quiet. Events like this wear them out for days. Yay for us!
