Gobble, Gobble

After many, many hours, I have finished my Thanksgiving orders. I spent all day Sunday making batter, baking, and icing approx 175 cookies. I didn't think I would ever finish.

This isn't even all the cookies...there are three cookie sheets of turkeys in the kitchen.

I even recruited Jeff to help add sprinkles. He was a good sport but said it was the worst job ever and thankful he doesn't spend all day adding sprinkles to cookies! I love it...it's the easiest part of decorating cookies.

Turkeys all lined up to be decorated.

Legless turkeys...
All tucked in to set up over night.

The last order I slipped in was for 25 turkeys. These little guys are all packed up and ready for delivery.

Here are all the other cookies ready to be sorted into Thanksgiving collections.

I had enough extras to take a plate to the neighbors and I sent Jeff to work with a plate.

All boxed up and ready to be delivered.

And for the secret cookie for the Hyman tradition..... Three years ago this Thanksgiving we started a new tradition - bowling the evening of Thanksgiving. It is so much fun. In honor of our annual bowl-a-thon, I made these cookies. I'm not overly impressed because I rushed through them...but next year they will be a lot better!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Cute! I love the colorful bowling balls! I have that same cutter, but have never used it.
