A break from cookies

...so I thought. This week started with zero cookies orders, but low and behold when I got home from work Monday there was a voice message with a large cookie order for this Saturday. The order is for a baby shower. I made the batter, cut the shapes, baked the cookies, made the icing and iced the cookies after I got home from work tonight. Doing everything in one night is just too much. I can't keep doing this to myself! Anytime I have a simple order I think...oh I can knock this out in one night. NEVER again! I am breaking it up from now on. Bake one night, ice the next night. I will post pictures tomorrow.

About 7-8 years ago I babysat for a friend...which by the way is the last time I babysat...and Laurie made us dinner before she and Perry went out for their evening. Ever since that night I have been making this pizza...which I made for dinner Monday night. It is so super simple. I cheated and bought the package mix for the dough. I just don't have the time for my bread maker to make dough for me on a week night. Top with jarred alfredo sauce, grilled chicken (or cheat again with the George Foreman Grill), and broccoli. I add some minced garlic to the alfredo sauce as well. This is super delcious and a break from regular pizza.

My boss' birthday was today (Wednesday) and us girls in the office made a little breakfast for her. I made Pull Apart Maple Pecan Sticky Buns. Seriously....it is heaven on a plate. You must try this. I found the recipe in the Kraft Family Magazine a few years. Which by the way is the best little magazine for recipes. It occurred to me about a month ago that I had not received the magazine in quite sometime....

How cute is Elliot??? Too bad she is an absolute monster! But how can you ever be mad at such a cutie pie??
