Cookie Madness

After we returned from vacation, it was back to work and back to cookie making....

The first order of the week is for Georgia football cookies. The Florida/Georgia game is this weekend and it is a BIG deal around here. This game is always around Halloween which makes it impossible to have a good turn out at a Halloween party. Trust me! Everyone would much rather attend football parties.

I was really worried I wouldn't enjoy making these cookies. I find that if I am interested in the theme I do a much better job and have a lot more fun making the cookies. Now, I have zero interest in football. I have been to one NFL game (Jacksonville Jags) and I used this as an opportunity to sun bathe. I had no clue a game was actually going on. Anyways....I ended up having a lot of fun making these cookies.

Needless to say, after talking to my friend about these cookies this morning, I learned dogs is actually spelled "dawgs". Who knew! Oh well....these are for another friend of mine who also knows I know nothing about football, so I am sure she will be okay with my typo! :)

The second order of the week is for Halloween cookies. This is a big order and I had the most fun with these cookies. I forgot to take a picture of the spider and web before packaging. The spider web is HUGE...approx 5-6 inches. I need to get a smaller cutter for next year. The pumkins have different faces and the ghost is outlined in different colors.
