Do not ask me why, but this is one of my favorite meals to make - Uncle Ben's Mexican Fiesta rice and black beans.
About 2 months ago, I about threw a fit in Publix when I discovered they no longer carried my all time favorite rice. I called the manager over and asked him to see about restocking this particular item and he proceeded to say that the rice had been discontinued. WHAT???? This can't be happening. This news literally ruined the rest of my day. Well, I jumped online and the Uncle Ben's website did not indicate that it had been discontinued....so the hunt was on. I finally found the rice fully stocked when I went to Super Target. Ask Jeff...I literally did a dance in the aisle and started putting box after box in the cart. After 4 boxes I realized I could come back and get more :)
When I am in the mood for grilled chicken, I make this dish with marinated chicken and it is basically a replica of Chili's Margarita Grilled Chicken! Yumm-O!! Tonight, though, just beans and rice.....

During the year, I burn Macintosh by Yankee Candle, but this time of year is my favorite time to buy different scents. My all time favorite scent is Creamy Nutmeg by Bath & Body Works. I was pretty disappointed this year when I discovered that B&BW now makes Creamy Nutmeg in a smaller jar and increased the price quite a bit. Err! But, still worth every penny!I usually buy Mistletoe by Yankee Candle this time of year, but this year I figured I would try two new scents - Balsam & Cedar and Red Apple Wreath. I hope they make the house smell wonderful this holiday season!

I have this Yankee Candle Co Angel scent that I keep in my Christmas box that I pull out each year (I only saw it once in the store) It smells very piney ... but not too overpowering. This weekend I'm going to bring out all the decorations since I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving ... YAY!
