This is the assumption of most people, but in fact it is more of a teal/turquoise color and it is not a very easy color to replicate. I tried....very hard.
For the bridal shower order, I was asked to make wedding cakes and diamond rings with Tiffany blue bands. I pulled out my Tiffany bags and Tiffany boxes (another little addiction of mine...) and concocted several variations and came up with a pretty close winner.
I designed two wedding cakes. The second one didn't photograph very well, but it is pretty in person.
Last week, I made this plate of cookies for a work bridal shower.

I know what it takes to achive a particular color... you did great on that Tiffany blue! and the cookies are great... I love the wedding cakes :)
I like the cakes with the swags and pearls.
I use Wilton teal for Tiffany Blue, sometimes I mix sky blue with kelly green as well, but the teal is usually good enough.
Try making maroon, ugh the bane of my cookie life. And everyone seems to want it!
Thanks Ladies! I will look for teal. I did use Wilton's sky blue, kelly green and another shade of blue....
I love these cookies!!! You are a cookie machine :)
Your Tiffany blue is perfect! I'm glad to know what you used.
