Step-By-Step Decorating

It is very rare that I get to work on orders over the weekend because my orders are usually due on Fridays or Saturdays for weekend events. Which means I spend almost every weeknight working on cookies. However, I have a birthday order due on Tuesday so I worked on it today.

Later this week, I will have pictures of a bridal shower order that includes wedding cakes and diamond rings.

I have posted pictures of the pink/green birthday collection before, but here are some step-by-step pictures of the decorating process.

Party Hats:

First, outline the top and bottom, then outline the body.

Flood the body, then add dots.

Lastly, flood the top and bottom and add sprinkles. There is some drying time in between each step of this process.

Presents:

Outline

Flood

Add dots.

After some drying time, add ribbon.

Cupcakes:

Outline the top, outline the bottom, then flood the bottom.

Add decoration - dots or lines.

Flood the top, then add sprinkles. Again there is some drying time between each step.

Lastly, add the candlestick.
