Happy New Year!!

On Tuesday, Jeff and I decided to stay in for New Years. It's just not worth being on the road with crazy people. So, we invited Emily & Erik over and made appetizers, lit some fireworks and counted down to 2009!

The smorgasbord of appetizers, along with homemade mojitos :)



For dessert, I made White Chocolate Panna Cotta With Dark Chocolate Sauce. Serving the dessert in the glasses makes it extra festive!


Of course, what is New Year's Eve without Champagne????


The boys enjoyed a stoagie before heading out for fireworks.

We took advantage of living on an old golf course and found a spot to set off fireworks. E&E packed up and ready to go.

Our very own light show. We received a round of applause from the local neighbors when we finished!

After the real firworks we played with sparklers.
