Tile Remodel and My New Ride

Birds are chirping, bees are buzzing and squirrels are scurrying - it was truly a perfect Florida weekend. It was seriously hot though - high 80's! Sometimes Florida skips spring and goes straight from winter to summer.



Since it was gorgeous out, all the doors/windows were open and I spent as much time outside as I could (gardening, of course). However, there was a lot to do inside because our kitchen remodel was finished! We spent most of the weekend putting the kitchen and half bath back together.

The ENTIRE house was covered in dust...even the upstairs. Ugh!





But the mess was well worth it....good bye 1985 tile! (view from the dining room down the foyer)

Now...on to my new ride. About 7 years ago I bought a bike that I rode approximately 5 times. So, why a new bike? Well....Jeff wants a beach cruiser and promises to go on bike rides with me. While we were out shopping I came across this baby blue. Isn't she adorable? If he is getting a new bike, I figured I should get a new one too. My old bike will be added to the garage sale on Saturday! Of course....Jeff didn't find a bike for himself.


We are finally going to take advantage of the old golf course that we live on and utilize the paved trails.
