A Project

I have been on the search for a little table to go between the guest chairs in my office. My plan was to put my desk fountain on this table....until the motor froze up this past week. Now I have to shop for a new fountain.

Anywho....I came across two little tables at Home Goods that were screaming PROJECT!! They were a steal so I bought them and have spent some time making them pretty.

As you can see...the tables are pretty beat up and missing tiles.

First, I removed the old tiles. I planned to use some left over tiles from one of our bathroom remodels and new tiny tiles I bought, but I couldn't match things up so I only used the tiny tiles.

After a fresh coat of paint, I placed the tiles in position and then grouted. Voila!

Seriously, how cute are these tables now???
