Emily & Erik hosted game night at their house this month. As always, Emily amazed us with a fabulous dinner. The theme was "Fall Harvest". She made butternut squash soup, Cornish hens with roasted potatoes and maple carrots.
I made an appetizer and dessert. Per Emily's request, I made baked brie for an appetizer. This dish could not be any easier to prepare...brie, jam and puff pastry.
For dessert I thought I would try to make an apple pie...from scratch. Emily sent me a recipe but it looked way too complicated, so I found a much easier recipe. I seriously could have eaten the apple concoction. It was so yummy.
Okay, so I had to model my newest apron!
