Seriously......again, it has been far too long since my last post. Bottom line, I've been lazy.

So what have I been up to, besides making cookies?

Well, first off, it is finally baseball season! We try to catch as many Jacksonville Suns games as we can.

Our nightly entertainment includes Elliot mauling the crap out of Dottie. Hands down the best $8.00 I have ever spent.

I purchased a Keurig Coffee Maker and it has literally changed my life and I am saving oodles of money. I'm making hot chocolate in this picture.

We spent a day at the beach relaxing, drinking beer (out of a can) and searching for sharks teeth.

I took a sewing class with two of my friends and practiced at home making a pillow case. As soon as I learn how to read a pattern, I plan to make aprons.

Converted a spice rack into a sanding sugar rack. Needless to say this is only a FRACTION of my sanding sugars. Cute nonetheless.

Played with my new kitchen gadget, the Egg Cuber, that was advertised in the last Food Network magazine. Very neat gadget, but unless you want to burn the shit out of your hands, it's really not worth it.

Randomly, I was craving gumbo, so I tried this recipe (sans chicken). It was okay....

We enjoyed the April Dachshund Meet Up. The best part about taking the girls to the meet up is they are thoroughly exhausted and sleep the rest of the day. Yay peace and quiet!!!!

And, I started reading Under The Table: Saucy Tales From Culinary School.
