A Tea Party

Tonight I made cookies to replicate this invitation.....

The cookies turned out okay......

In honor of my sister-n-law's graduation from UNF this Friday, I made some cookies for the occasion. Don't you love my 3rd grade writing skills? Ugh....so much more practice needed in this department. I did rush through these so if I would have actually taken my time...the writing would have been a tad bit better....

On a side note, I made a Frittata for the first time Sunday. I tweaked a recipe from Everyday Italian. The recipe called for asparagus, but I had broccoli on hand, so I substituted the veggie. It was good, BUT it needed a meat like prosciutto, bacon, ham...something.

I LOVE your Tea Party COOKIES, Melissa! The colors match the invitation perfectly... Want to hear something funny? I have to make the same COOKIES + a daisy for a customer next week... she brought a napkin for my to copy the design... I'll post them for you to see when they are done :)

I think all of those cookies are great! Your writing looks perfect to me! That was a neat idea about how to match the invitation...that's hard to do!

I adore fritatta's, so good with a salad. Yours looks delicious.

Thanks ladies...I really doubted myself on these cookies, so I really appreciate the comments!

Laura - I served the fritatta with a salad and 7 grain bread. Yummo!

Oooh...a fritatta with asparagus and prosciutto would be delicious! I think you did a great job capturing the pattern in the tea party cookies.
