Memorial Day Weekend

After a full week of nonstop rain, the clouds slowly disappeared and we were able to enjoy the long weekend.

Friday night we saw Terminator Salvation. It was okay.... Jeff has seen countless girlie movies....so I figured I could suck it up. There was about 20 minutes left in the movie and the fire alarm went off. The entire building had to evacuate. Made for an interesting night at the movies.

Next up....a Sun's Baseball game Saturday night. Unfortunately, there were sprinkles, but not enough to stop the game. I first enjoyed a soda and popcorn.... yumm!!

And when I spotted a kid next to use eating a corn dog, I instantly had a craving.

We moved undercover during the little shower.

Sunday morning, I worked on an order of 30 birthday cookies. This is a new color combo
and I think it is cute.
Monday, we took the girls to the dog park. They were going stir crazy and we had to get them out of the house. Elliot thoroughly enjoyed the pool (which is in desperate need of replacing) for the first time.
When we got home, I made two types of cookies from Martha Stewart Cookies and managed to botch both recipes.....so no pictures to show.

Later that day we made a fabulous surf-n-turf dinner - grilled lobster tail, steaks (seasoned with truffle salt and pepper) and lemon garlic potatoes.

(the plate definitely needs something green!)
Can't forget the Memorial Day Mojitos!!

A quick picture of Elliot using Snoopy as her pillow. Seriously....how cute is she???? I love her oodles!

I love those little birthday hats!

The ballpark is all about the food for me, too! ;)

You know, I've never had a corn dog?!
They do look yummy.
Sounds like a great weekend!
