Manatee
While home for Thanksgiving, my sister-n-law, aunt-in-law and I went to Blue Spring State Park to see the manatees. Growing up, we went to Blue Springs quite a few times, including school field trips. It had been years since I saw manatees.
They are such unique creatures.

This is amazing! Nothing like it in the Pacific NW. What are the scars from?
The scars are from boaters. The manatee can not move out of the way fast enough. It is very sad, especially when boaters do not abide by the speed limits.
